Ingredients
  

  • 1½ - 2 lbs ground beef
  • 32 oz frozen tater tots
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese ( for topping )
  • 1 can corn (14.5 oz ) ( drained ) ( optional )
  • 1 can green beans (14.5 oz ) ( drained ) ( optional )
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 1 yellow onion ( diced )
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • ½ cup milk
  • ¼ cup worcestershire sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and Lightly grease a 9×13 baking dish
  2. Start by cooking your ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat
  3. Add the diced onion at the same time so it softens as the beef cooks about 8-minutes
  4. Once beef has browed, stir in the garlic and cook for another minute.
  5. Adding in the flour. Stir until well mixed and let cook for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Drain the fat completely before moving on
  7. Turn the heat down to low. Stir in the milk, beef broth, and Worcestershire sauce directly into the skillet with the beef.
  8. Mix everything until it’s smooth and well combined.
  9. Taste and adjust for seasoning accoringly.
  10. Add in corn and green beans (optional). Stir until the sauce thickens.
  11. Spread the beef mixture evenly across the baking dish.
  12. Top with a single layer of frozen tater tots
  13. Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top.
  14. Bake uncovered for 25-minutes until cheese is warm and bubbly
  15. Remove from oven and allow to cool
  16. Serve and enjoy
